exploration bonuses can be chosen when your party leaves base, and apply a 1 day bonus to the team, these are mainly boosts to perception, accuracy or movement speed, but increased item yields from enemies and containers, or just finding rare's loot are also options
return bonuses are optional but powerful bonuses to every character, be it in the party or in the base, before leaving the player can set goals in tiers, tier one are simple tasks such as "scavenge for ammo" or "hunt for meat" tier one bonuses will be boosts to EXP or reduced research times for new technology, tier two will include harsher tasks, such as "obtain deathclaw hides"
